CHAPADA DIAMANTINA NATIONAL PARK
Known worldwide as one of the best trekking destinations, the Chapada Diamantina National Park is a true paradise for those who like to be in direct contact with nature. Located in the state of Bahia, the park extends over an area of 1521.46 km², in which there are numerous trails with breathtaking landscapes.

Park of Muritiba

Located just a few meters from the city center, Parque da Muritiba is the main attraction of Lençóis. The Park has a geological formation of more than 1 billion years where there are several points for bathing. The tour back to the park has an extension of about 5km with an easy to intermediate level, where the Serrano, Poço Halley, Cachoeirinha and Salão de Areias, Cachoeira da Primavera and Mirante in the city of Lençóis are visited.
Poço Azul
Located in the rural area of Nova Redenção this tour is one of the most sought after due to the intensely blue water in the middle of the cave rocks, a truly indescribable view . And as if the incredible tonality of the water were not enough, Poço Azul also offers the spectacle of the sun's rays, which pass through the cave entrance and form a luminous beam that crosses the water barrier and reaches the bottom. The lightning is only visible from February to October, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. And only seeing it live to understand the intensity of the beauty of this place. Diving in Poço Azul is one of the most impressive experiences among the Chapada Diamantina tours.

Lapa Doce Cave
Part of a 42 km system of caves, the Gruta da Lapa Doce is an extraordinary visit for fans of underground beauty. The route is not difficult and can be taken by any visitor without difficulty in locomotion. After a ten-minute walk, tourists arrive at the mouth of the cave and begin to walk inland in search of the wonderful formations of speleothems, stalactites and stalagmites.
At Gruta da Lapa Doce, three itinerary options are offered, all with easy access to the cave. The shortest route is 2.5 km long, the average 3 km and the longest, where the cave paintings found in the region, 700 m, are visited.

Sossego Waterfall
The Sossego Waterfall is the best option in Lençóis for those who want to make a good trail without having to stay overnight. The route that leads to Cachoeira do Sossego departs from Lençóis and the round trip has a total of 12 km. The trail is one of the most difficult for those in the city and the look at the end pays off! The route passes through beautiful viewpoints, rocks and grandiose trees, several opportunities for bathing in the caramel-colored water so typical of Chapada Diamantina and ends with a stretch of stones on the riverbed. Great trail for those who want a little bit of each experience.

In the heart of the National Park, there is the Valley of Pati containing dozens of attractions that surprise and enchant. This is an overnight adventure for those who like to be out of the air for a few days. The crossing of the Park can be done from 3 to 7 days, depending on how willing you are to walk and how much you want to know this incredible place. Certainly one of the best experiences that Chapada Diamantina offers.
Backwater and snorer
This tour is one of the most versatile, in it the tour is made by canoe through the Environmental Preservation Area (APA) Marimbus where the quilombola community of Remanso resides. On the way it is possible to see a lot of the local fauna and flora and observe a little of the daily life of the riverside population, at the end of the route, tourists go to the Roncador River with rock formations that form small natural pools, excellent for resting.
